BOONEVILLE, Ky. – With the historic Seale Theater revitalization project in Booneville as a backdrop, state and civic leaders on Thursday at 11 a.m. will discuss a new grant to spur private-sector economic development projects in Eastern Kentucky’s Opportunity Zones.
This recently awarded federal grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission will allow the Ky. Department of Local Government and the Ky. Cabinet for Economic Development to help define, advance and market job-creating projects in any of the 32 Opportunity Zones across the Kentucky’s 54 Appalachian region.
