Connolly iHealth Technologies to Open Facility in Louisville

Analytics company to provide 45 high-paying jobs

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 27, 2015) –Governor Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer today announced Connolly iHealth Technologies is expanding in Louisville, creating 45 jobs and investing nearly $3.5 million into the project.

Connolly iHealth Technologies is a leading payment integrity and payment transaction analytics company.

"Louisville has a long history of successful health care companies, and the expansion of Connolly iHealth Technologies will help to build upon that success," said Gov. Beshear. "The company is growing throughout the United States, and I'm excited to know that the Commonwealth is going to be part of that growth."

Connolly iHealth Technologies will be moving into a new state-of-the-art facility in the Meidinger Tower as the company looks to accommodate its continued growth. The additional jobs will add to an employee base of 140 financial services team members already working in Louisville. In addition to its expansion in Louisville, the company recently opened a health care office in Salt Lake City that will provide up to 145 long-term STEM jobs serving health care clients in the western United States.

"We unlock hidden value for our clients, delivering superior results for them through our talented team and effective technology processes," said Doug Williams, CEO of Connolly iHealth Technologies. "Expanding our team in Kentucky is good for our clients, good for the economy of Kentucky, and good for us. We are very excited to be taking this next big step in the Bluegrass State."

"The expansion of Connolly iHealth Technologies is a great addition to Louisville's thriving lifelong wellness and aging care sector and complements our innovative approach to increasing our technology-based workforce," said Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer. "The high-wage, STEM-based jobs created by this expansion will help Louisville increase its strength as an industry leader in health technology."

Connolly iHealth Technologies provides end-to-end payment integrity and business intelligence solutions to clients in the government and commercial health care and retail industries. The company helps clients contain costs, lower administrative burdens, improve payment accuracy, and leverage analytic and clinical resources. The company serves nearly 100 clients through 50 offices located in four countries and across three continents. Reviewing more than 2 trillion transactions each year, the company saves clients in excess of $2 billion annually. Clients include 20 of the top 25 health care payers and nine of the top 10 retailers in the U.S., as well as Medicaid managed care in 35 states.

"This expansion by Connolly iHealth Technologies speaks highly of our skilled workforce and our community," said Sen. Gerald Neal, of Louisville. "This company has proven to be a good corporate partner and I wish them continued success."

"I thank God that Connolly iHealth Technologies has decided to expand its presence here in our community and add these much-needed new jobs," said state Rep. Tom Riner, of Louisville. "This move will only add to our region's strong reputation when it comes to health care and making sure every dollar is spent wisely and efficiently. I appreciate the work our local and state leaders have done in helping to make this possible."

To encourage the investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $850,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.

In addition, Connolly iHealth Technologies is eligible to receive resources from the Kentucky Skills Network. Through the Kentucky Skills Network, companies are eligible to receive no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job training incentives. Last year, the Kentucky Skills Network trained more than 84,000 employees from more than 4,100 Kentucky companies.
