The final numbers are in, as Kentucky's strong economic momentum continued into 2023.
In total, Gov. Andy Beshear announced that 180 private-sector new-location and expansion projects are creating more than 8,500 full-time jobs for Kentuckians behind over $4.6 billion in new investments.
The new job creation also represents rising wages in the commonwealth, as the average incentivized wage before benefits came in at $26.67 for the year, marking the first time the state's figure topped $26 in consecutive years.
